Quad Goals in Marrakech, Day 7

What an absolute experience it has been here in Marrakech for the both of us and a break we both needed! We can't wait to travel more together in the future and share it all with you.

Our last full day:
It's our last full day and it's about 8:30am, I'm already showered and dressed, in the hotel lobby trying to upload yesterdays photos for today's post, while James is still asleep. The dedication is real, although it still took longer than expected but I'm sure the giveaway included made up for it. Here I am sitting in the lobby hoping for James to come down before breakfast is over, but does he no? Time passes and the post is done, head back to the hotel room and he's awake! Breakfast was already over, so we headed down to the pool for some last hours of proper tanning before heading out to our last activity here.

S(quad) goals:
Of course we couldn't go without doing one of the excursions on our last day, quad biking in the desert! As mentioned, it's our last day here and we wanted to end it on a good note, doing something we both haven't done before. Although, I think anxiety grabbed me hard and I really wasn't up for riding on my own, so I opted for being James' passenger and to be fair, it was just as fun but probably more painful for my inner thighs.

On arrival, there were several other guests there too, mostly from our hotel, we all lined up on a bike one behind another and got explained the basics and got taken around the area for a quick test drive. We did several turns and manoeuvres to get the hang of things. Before heading out to the main road, following a guide and another to follow behind us.

2 hours going around the dessert, going through different tracks, going up hills and going down hills, deep humps and bumps and circles around each palm tree. We eventually stopped to take some photos, then shortly started our journey again, this time for not too long before another stop at a little Cafe in the middle of nowhere for some Moroccan mint tea and bread served with syrup. Although we thought it was ridiculous that we had to spend 10 DH on water, if water is what we wanted.

Moroccan Night:
Coming back from quad biking, we headed straight to the room to shower, if only we'd taken a photo of our dirty legs and shoes from that ride and did a quick pack of the main items before our flight tomorrow morning and just in time for dinner. Little did we know it was Moroccan night in the hotel, which meant the dishes for dinner were all typical Moroccan dishes as well as a show at 9:30, as we were organising our posts and vlogs, the cane through the lobby and we couldn't resist it being out last night that we stopped what we were doing to enjoy the show and basically get drunk with our unlimited alcohol.

We hope you've enjoyed all of our holiday posts and will watch our vlogs once they are uploaded. We will be posting a summary/review with prices and main details of everything we did tomorrow!
