InterRail: The Bum Bag Essentials

We are literately one post away from our interrail posts! Now that you know how we've packed our backpack, here's a post on what bum bag essentials we will be taking with us. As we agreed on only purchasing one bum bag and I, Jessica will be the only one wearing it, please note and expect lady essentials.

This post will be split into two sections, the first being what would be taken onto the plane and train journeys, as well as the essentials, which will be mentioned in the second section, as that would be the main essentials that will be taken out and about when on the streets around Europe.

Plane and Train:

Main compartment:
Passports
Boarding passes
Interrail passes
Europe credit card
Cash

Key hook:
Neck pillow

There are several compartments within this bum bag, which was really good to be able to designate certain items to each section, as certain compartments are more secretive and secure than others. There is also a fourth zip compartment which is the smallest, which we most likely be using for loose change.

Out and About:

Main compartment (in a seperate pouch):
Hand Sanatiser
Tissues/Wipes
Vaseline
Mirror
Pads/Pantie Liners
Medicine/Paracetamol
Plasters

Front pocket:
Mobile Phone

Back pocket:
Money/Europe Credit Card
City Card

Fortunately for us I was able to purchase this bum bag through my work discount, for super cheap, which unfortunately do not sell to the public. I have tried to find it online for you to have a direct link, but unfortunately they too do not sell to the public, so this isn't very helpful, but there are many around in such retails as ASOS.

What do you think of our bum bag essentials? What are we missing?
What would you take with you? Please comment below.

  3. I love the idea of clipping on a neck pillow, so handy! I had no idea you could fit this much in a bum bag also, wow! I always thought there would only be room for a few things, but yours seems to fit as much as my handbag!

  4. I couldn't live without my bum bag when I travel, I always put my in-flight essentials in there (aside from my book obviously!) so that I have everything to hand whilst travelling! I got a lovely faux-leather bum bag from Amazon years ago and it hasn't let me down yet!
