Short Round Trip on Lake Zurich | Zurich Day 3

Caught up with Day 1 & Day 2?

Today is our last day in Zurich and if you haven't already this from us already, it's a pretty experience city. Well to us tourist anyway, and as people say London is expensive, well Switzerland is twice as more! Don't get us wrong, we've enjoyed being here and it was all part of the experience.

So we've decided to take a slow day, we took the morning to sort out all of our things and headed straight out to go on a short round tour of Lake Zurich. Luckily this was basically free with our Zurich Card* but we had to pay a surcharge of 5CHF each. All in all it took an hour and a half to go around, making some stops along the way as people could get on and off from different parts.

After the boat ride, we took a short trip to go to the National Museum, this too was free entry with the Zurich Card*
We weren't allowed to take pictures or film most of the museum but it was interesting and the modern technology used to show the history of the country was amazing.

As we've mentioned, it was a slow day and we didn't really do much, but if you ever do come, we'd highly suggest the Zurich Card* as it does save you a lot of money if used correctly!

We did our usually souvenir shopping and headed back to our AirBnb to plan our next trip, which has been very spontaneous as it is not part of our original route but we're so excited. So make sure to look out on our social media or simply come back tomorrow to see where we ended up!
