SPArty at The Széchenyi Thermal Bath | Budapest Day 1

Caught up with AmsterdamBerlinPrague & Vienna?

Kicking off our first night in Budapest the right way at a SPARTY at the Széchenyi Thermal Bath! But before we get ahead of ourselves, we arrived into Budapest around 10am, checked into our Airbnb, found somewhere to eat and simply started walking to explore, found loads of places to eat and walked all the way to the St. Stephen's Basilica and over the Chain Bridge from Pest to Buda.

We do plan on re-visiting these places and exploring more, so we'll show you pictures then, but for now, back to the SPARTY!! James actually booked this the night before in Vienna, even before we had somewhere to stay. These sparties only happen every Saturday. We bought a DUO priority ticket, which included fast track entry, lockers and 5 drink tokens (1 token = 2 beers or 1 cocktail)

If you know us, we're not the clubbing type of people, but it was so much fun, we got there at 10:30 and left at 3 when it finished. It was crowded and a bit weird but you soon get over that!

It's such a shame that we forgot the waterproof back to the GoPro in our other bags but we've got a few video shots and took a few pictures before putting my phone away. In a way we're happy we didn't have either devices as there was no pressure to film or anything. We enjoyed it much more with simply each other and those hundreds of other people.

Would we recommend it? Yes. We did feel like we would have regretted not going as let's face it, this is something we would be doing again anytime soon. When you're on holiday like us, you can't pass up these types of opportunities!

Have you been to anything like this? Would you go if you had the chance?
